This amazing looking Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Türler edition is a rare piece to find!
Jaeger-LeCoultre was one of the first ever to produce a watch with an alarm function. The name Memovox means 'voice of memory'. This voice of memory is a pleasant alarm sound, which can be set to remind you of your appointments. In the 50's this watch was designed especially for businessman, who couldn't afford it to miss out on a important business meeting.
The mechanism of the alarm can be compared with a 'hammer' striking inside of this beautiful watch, once wound up.
What makes this watch even more special, is that it's been retailed by the famous Swiss jewelry house 'Türler'. You can see the Türler signature at the 6 o'clock marker.
The hands and the dial on this watch are original and appear to be untouched.
The Memovox is a very desirable vintage watch for collectors!
